Big Sean Has Made Everyone Proud With “Detroit 2”

Big Sean is back in the game, as he drops “Detroit 2” on September 4, 2020. This is the fifth studio album of the singer and it’s bound to make you nostalgic. The album features artists like Eminem, Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Young Thug, Jhene Aiko and others.

The album is filled with songs to do with prayers, love, humblebrags and of course, being a Black person in the City. Big Sean has gotten Dave Chappelle, Erykah Badu and Stevie Wonder on board, as well. “Detroit 2” consists of 21 tracks and all of them, pay tribute to the people and history of the place.

Leading up to the album, he droppedDeep Reverence‘ which featured Nipsey Hussle and also teased ‘Body Language‘.

What’s Next For Big Sean?

The singer is all ready to create his own label. How do we know this? During a Q&A session on Twitter, he asked people to send in questions by using the hashtag, #AskBigSean.

A user asked him if he was still a part of Kanye West’s label, G.O.O.D Music, for which Big Sean replied, “Yep! I’m starting my own after this album though. Any artist u think I need to sign? It’s time!”

The rapper has also disclosed the reason behind him making the album, as a response to a tweet. And, we can agree to his justification behind dropping the album.
