Beyonce Knowles-Carter is not happy with the way things are and has written a whole letter about it.

Beyonce wrote to the Kentucky Attorney General — Daniel Cameron — urging him to take action in the case of Breonna Taylor who was shot brutally by three police officers. She died of multiple bullet wounds on 13th March in her Lousiville apartment.

She wrote in her letter that was shared publicly by American journalist, Elliott Wilson, “Your office has both the power and the responsibility to bring justice to Breonna Taylor, and demonstrate the value of a Black woman’s life.”

In her strong words, Beyonce said, “Don’t let this case fall into the pattern of no action after a terrible tragedy. With every death of a Black person at the hands of the police, there are two real tragedies: The death itself, and the inaction and delays that follow it.”

Beyonce has been vocal about Breonna Taylor’s death for a while now, even as she addressed the Class of 2020. She said to the Attorney General, “This is your chance to end that pattern. Take swift and decisive action in charging the officers. The next months cannot look like the last three.”

“The killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and so many others have left us all broken. It has left the entire country searching for answers,” Beyonce said. “We’ve seen that our collective hearts, when put to positive action, could start the wheels of change.”
