Ariana Grande Offers Up A Dreamy Preview of ‘Positions’

After a few alterations to her official website and an ominous teaser on social media. Ariana Grande promised the arrival of a fresh track this week. Gauging by her odd teaser, where she was seen typing out the words, ‘Positions’ on a neon green keyboard. Fans speculated that it was in fact the title of her new single. And now, Ariana has offered up a little more clarity on the tune. 

The young star once again took to social media to drop the cover art and a snippet of her new single, which as she confirmed is titled, ‘Positions’. The first piece of art shows us a black and white photocard of Ariana dressed in a crop top and mini skirt. Though interestingly, most of her face is actually cut off. The title of the track floats across a blue hued background, right beside this photo card. 

Ariana’s simple caption read, “positions, single tomorrow night. 10.23”. Next up, Ariana arrived with a brief snippet of the track. Boasting of some flawless high notes and the artist’s signature, lulling runs – this teaser certainly upped the anticipation for her new single. 

Earlier in the week, Ariana also  kick started a countdown clock on her website, showing the exact days, hours, minutes and seconds until her new single and album arrive. The date assigned to what will be her sixth studio album is October 30th. 

It looks like Ariana has in fact stayed true to her word considering that just last week, she promised fans that they’d receive a fresh new album before month end. And tomorrow, we’ll get our first taste of this project.
