Ariana Grande Just Teased A New Track & Fans Are Losing It

This week has already promised a flood of new music, or as some would call it “the calm before the storm”. On the list of new tunes ready to drop at any moment, is a brand new track from Ariana Grande.

Dropping cryptic teasers seems to be the new trend among pop musicians. And it looks like Ariana has jumped aboard. The young star recently took to Twitter to post what appears to be a song lyric alongside a brief clip of her singing. The lyric read,  “Know my love infinite nothing that i won’t do”. The clip she posted after, featured a bar running across sound waves as we hear a snippet of Ariana’s haunting vocal runs. She captioned the clip, “brb” and that’s all it took for fans to have an absolute meltdown.

Now, that’s understandable considering that Ariana’s last full length album arrived in the latter half of 2018. Her fifth studio album, “Thank U, Next” held a good 12 tracks. It nursed some sugary sweet hit tunes like, ‘7 Rings,’ ‘Thank U, Next,’ ‘Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored’ and a bundle of other gems. Many of her tracks and the album itself did exceedingly well on charts world over.

In fact, On the Billboard Hot 100 chart, all twelve songs from “Thank U, Next” appeared simultaneously in the top 40, breaking the record for the most simultaneous top 40 entries by a female artist.

What Treats Has Ariana Grande Been Cooking Up?

Now circling back to what we hope will be a brand new album, Ariana has actually spilled more details on it. In an earlier interview this year, she mentioned that she was working alongside Doja Cat for a song.

“I’m obsessed with her. I love her. I was able to work with her earlier this year on this song that I want to save for whenever it’s time again, to drop,” Grande gushed. “She’s just such a breath of fresh air and I think she’s brilliant and so talented.”

Ariana didn’t feel it right to drop a new album bang in the midst of the global coronavirus pandemic. But now, if we keep our fingers crossed, we might still get a release date soon.
