Ananya Birla Arrives with A Charming Treat: ‘Let There Be Love’

Ananya Birla recently made a surprise landing with her brand new single, ‘Let There Be Love’. This tune marks the young star’s first release of 2020. We last spotted her during the Fingerprint era in 2019, and not to mention the splash she created with the groovy standalone release of ‘Day Goes By’ featuring Sean Kingston.

Now, diving deep into the soundscape of the track, ‘Let There Be Love’ is an electro-pop masterpiece. Sprinkled with sparkly synths and a groovy cocktail of beats, this tune proves to be a catchy treat from the get-go. It also boasts of Ananya’s strong verses and impressive range.

Much like the title suggests, this tune packs an emotional bunch. It speaks of finding love again and offering it to others, despite the complexities we face during these trying times. Here, take a look at the lyrics:

One smile across the world
Everybody is capable of
That selfless love
To think that we evolved
Back into animals
Savage, irrational
Where is the love?

Now, coming to the story behind this track, Birla dished out that it was after all, a “covid baby”. Speaking to RJ Melbin during our latest Xperience Session, the star explained, “We all knew this was one of the songs we wanted to lead with. It’s got s great message. It’s everything I stand for. So, right from recording the song in a studio I had built from home to the promotion to the music video and even the photo shoots, everything happened from home. So, it’s been an amazingly intense, crazy rollercoaster but we managed to release the song and I think my team’s done a great job.”

And there you have it, the origin story behind ‘Let There Be Love’! So, while this might be a trying time, artists around the globe are doing their bit to raise spirits and keep everyone moving forward. And Ananya Birla has certainly played her part well. Ultimately, ‘Let There Be Love’ arrives as a spark of hope, which is the need of the hour right now.
