RHCP Third Time Lucky!

Red Hot Chili Peppers announced earlier today that Josh Klinghoffer, their guitarist of 10 years will be parting ways with them and that the band will be rejoined by John Frusciante. The unexpected bitter-sweet Instagram post shocked.

The rock band posted the following on their Instagram handle “The Red Hot Chili Peppers announce that we are parting ways with our guitarist of the past 10 years, Josh Klinghoffer,” “Josh is a beautiful musician who we respect and love. We are deeply grateful for our time with him, and the countless gifts he shared with us.

Klinghoffer has been the band’s guitarist since 2009 and appeared on every album since.

The band further went on to say that their ex-guitarist, member until 2009, will be rejoining the band! They posted “We also announce, with great excitement and full hearts, that John Frusciante is rejoining our group.”

The band did not reveal the reason for the sudden change that brought back Frusciante after a decade, and caused the exit of Klinghoffer.

This will mark the third time that Frusciante will reunite with longtime band mates Anthony Kiedis, Flea and Chad Smith. Frusciante had joined the band in 1988 after the death of the original guitarist Hillie Slovak. During his time Red Chilli Hot Peppers shot to fame through their hit “Blood Sugar Sex Magic” in 1991. They also received a Grammy in the Best Rock Song category for their 1991 hit “Californifiation”.

The group is currently prepping for their 2020 tour! They have already announced two US tour dates on their website, scheduled for the 15th and 24th of May. OG fans are thrilled to see John back on stage with RCHP. The third time is always the charm!

Nicki is Here To Stay!

Nicki Minaj debuted in 2007 with a mixtape called ‘Playtime Is Over’ and went onto become the first and only woman to score 100 appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, redefining success for women in hip-hop this decade.

Minaj set the Internet buzzing back in September when she spoke about retiring from the music scene. From dropping jaws with Anaconda to collaborating with stars like David Guetta, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5 and more, she was on the top of her game and the news came as a shocker to literally everybody.

The songstress had taken to Twitter to announce that she was retiring from the music scene to focus on her personal life. But thankfully and surprisingly, the rapper released new music in the same month. Seems like the Billboard’s inaugural Game-Changer isn’t done yet. “I’m a perfectionist and love topping myself,” said Minaj, “so as long as I love music, I’ll always be doing that.” Fans couldn’t be happier! However, she also added, “But I want to be open to other possibilities in my life. I do believe it is important to become a woman outside of the magnifying glass. I have to make sure that I’m well-rounded as a human being.”

Nicki also had a huge life update for her fans in October when she announced that she got married to beau, Kenneth Petty. The Bang-bang rapper is now focused on expanding her business that includes a liquor company, Queen Radio in partnership with Italian luxury fashion house, Fendi.

Minaj said in a recent interview that it may just be the beginning of an unforgettable 2020. The rapper admitted that she’s been planning on her goal to become a big businesswoman and after her clarification, we already know that her music will definitely win over hearts like always.
