Megan Thee Stallion Wants to Put An End to All Rumours

Megan Thee Stallion recently had fans across the globe quite worried over the news of her bullet-injuries. The young rapper had taken to Instagram to briefly acknowledge the incident without clearly stating why or how this happened. 

But as of this week, she cleared the air over an Instagram Live session where she addressed the incident in detail. Now, just for some context, Megan went through this traumatic event on July 12, when Tory Lanez was arrested on a felony gun charge in Hollywood Hills. The rapper and another woman were reported to have been in the car with him when the arrest took place.  

Discussing this, Megan immediately tackled peoples’ responses, calling out those spinning baseless rumours. 

Megan Thee Stallion Details the Incident

“I see a lot of people painting fake ass narratives and making up stories and all this other wack ass shit, but I also see a lot of people being very supportive and sending prayers and I just really appreciate that,” she said. “I was shot in both of my feet, and I had to get surgery to get the shit taken out, get the bullets taken out, and it was super scary.” 

Megan went on to explain that she needed surgery, calling it “the worst experience of my life”. She once again emphasized that it was extremely cruel for people to go about making up fake stories on the incident.  

“And thank God that the bullets didn’t touch bones, they didn’t break tendons,” she said. “I know my mama and my daddy and my granny had to be lookin’ out for me with that one, because where the bullets hit at, they missed everything. And it’s not that I was protecting anybody, I just wasn’t ready to speak,” she continued. 

“I just want y’all to know a b**ch is alive and well and strong as f**k and ready to get back to my regular programming with my own hot girl shit,” Megan concluded. 

Here’s hoping that she can return to her studio as soon as possible. And, that all the unnecessary buzz surrounding this event settles.
