Lizzo has been thrust under the spotlight once again and it’s due to her ongoing lawsuit concerning the hit track, ‘Truth Hurts’. Finally, it appears that there’s a light at the end of this nasty tunnel. Just yesterday, a California federal judge dismissed the lawsuit against her by two songwriters who claimed they helped create ‘Truth Hurts.’
So, we can breathe a sigh of relief as this chapter of Lizzo’s life closes. Since the release of this chart-topping track, the young star has been engaged in some bloody battles concerning its songwriting. And now that Lizzo has come out victorious, we figured the best way to celebrate would be by taking a look at her finest, sassiest lyrics from the 2019 album, “Cuz I Love You”.
This record marks the star’s third full length studio album and truly shined in terms of songwriting. “Cuz I Love You” gave birth to hits like “Truth Hurts’, ‘Juice’, ‘Tempo’ and many more.
