With every day that goes by, the music industry bears witness to a string of up and coming stars. Ones that are bubbling with potential and looking to carve out a niche space for their art. And one such musician is the American singer-songwriter, MAX.
The young star is gearing up to drop his brand new album, “Color Vision”, which arrives tomorrow, September 18. And prior to this release he also dropped his buzzing collaboration featuring Suga from BTS. The sugary sweet, gooey track is titled, ‘Blueberry Eyes’ and it also arrived with its very own aesthetic visualizer.

A Deep Dive Into The Up & Coming MAX
1. Maxwell George Schneider, fondly known as MAX, is an American singer who found a spot on the map in 2018.
2. Now this just screams child prodigy: MAX found his passion for music at a very young age. He began performing at the age of three and got his first agent at the age of 14. Yup, our jaws are hanging open too.
3. While finding his footing in the music scene, MAX managed to tour with some stellar acts out there. In 2015, he toured with Fall Out Boy, Wiz Khalifa, and Hoodie Allen on the Boys of Zummer Tour.
4. In 2016, MAX released his hit track, ‘Lights Down Low’. According to the star, after recording the song, he played it for his girlfriend, Emily, followed by a marriage proposal which she accepted.
5. The track went on to earn double platinum certifications in the United States and Canada. Speaking about it, MAX explained, “It’s not our song anymore. It’s everybody’s song. It’s not about even the artist or the writer or the singer, it’s about what it can stand for for people.”
6. Last year, MAX scored the iHeart 2019 ‘Best New Pop Artist’ nomination and was even labeled by Billboard as a number one Emerging Artist.
7. MAX has also found a space for himself in the television industry. He’s starred in shows like, ‘Law & Order,’ ‘Beauty & The Beast,’ ‘Crisis’ and more.
8. Just this year, MAX featured on the mixtape, “D-2” by Suga from BTS. He arrived with some scorching melodies on their track, ‘Burn It’.
9. In his latest collaborative track with Suga, ‘Blueberry Eyes’, MAX and his wife actually learned the entire Korean rap. “I knew it was going to be hard, but really breaking down how to properly pronounce all of the Korean was insane, and it made me have a deeper appreciation for the meaning behind the lyrics and what he (Suga) put on the song,” he explained.
10. Speaking of the concept behind his upcoming album, “Color Vision” MAX explained, “A theme has been new perspectives, new awakenings, new life. I think that’s why the title is Colour Vision, seeing things in a whole new way and seeing the same things that have always been in your life in a new way.”
