Xperience Sessions With Alexandra Stan, Dance Music Queen

This week’s XPerience Sessions arrived in sizzling fashion. Joining RJ Neerja in conversation this week was none other than Romanian superstar, Alexandra Stan. The 31 year old pop star, high on the heels of her latest release – a collaboration with Paul Damixie – ‘Bandit’, caught up with us on everything she’s been up to.

Now, XPerience Sessions always delivers on various fronts. And, this time is no different. Catching up with the ‘Bandit’ hitmaker, RJ Neerja dove headfirst into her upcoming projects, recent releases and time in quarantine. And, of course, had Alexandra take on a fun rapid fire round. That track reached every corner of the world, landed on music charts, dance floors, ringtones and playlists world over. And, even today, remains one of the most recognisable faces of dance music. But, Stan didn’t stop there. Following the success of that track, the singer delivered back-to-back dance hits like ‘Lemonade’, ‘I Did it Mama’, ‘Tikari’, and more.

Now, while Alexandra Stan’s musical universe may be a canvas splattered with vibrancy, hard-hitting imagery and sensual frames, the singer is driven to make good music. Speaking of her dream collaboration, she revealed that her pick is The Weeknd. And, for those of you who have heard her music, that would be a definitive sonic spectacle, that’s for sure. Further, she dove into the inspiration behind her music. And, if that wasn’t enough, she got up close and personal about the creative process and life in the year 2020.
