Lizzo is proof that Anything can happen

The pop superstar took to her Twitter on the eve of the New Year to motivate her fans and followers world over. The whole beginning of the decade vs. the end of the decade trend has been going on for a while now, but Lizzo’s glow up was real.

Comparing two photographs of herself – one in 2009 and the other of herself on the cover of TIME magazine as Entertainer of the Year, she wrote : “2009 was the year my daddy died. 2009 was the year I lived in my car & cried myself to sleep on Thanksgiving. 2019 is the year my album & song went #1. 2019 is the year I told my mama I can buy her a house. ”

The singer has always been open about the struggles of becoming the star she is today, and how hard she had to work to make her dreams come true. From waitressing to singing for no pay, and even being homeless, Lizzo’s road to fame has been anything but easy.

But, just like her music, her attitude has always been this: fight for what you believe in and keep working at it, and it will come true.

She ended the post by saying “Anything can happen in a decade. Tomorrow is the beginning of ur Anything”

The Truth has never sounded so good. 2020 here we come!

Lauv’s got “Good Newzz” For His Indian Audience

2020 has just started and we’re already drowning under a bunch of treats from some of the biggest names in the industry! Lauv recently added to the mix when he took to Twitter to share a post from Dharma Productions that featured the link of the song, ‘Dil Na Jaaneya’. Without missing a beat, the singer tweeted, “Co-wrote and produced a song for the Bollywood film ‘Good Newwz’! It’s called ‘Dil Na Jaaneya’ and it’s out now!”

Buzz around this film has only been increasing with each passing day, and the release of this song has had a lot of heads turning considering what an unusual collaboration this is! Composer Rochak Kohli and Lauv collaborated for the first time, making this Lauv’s debut track in the Bollywood industry.

The song features Rochak Kohli, Lauv and Akasa and has been penned by Gurpreet Saini, Lauv and Michael Pollack. Looking back at her experience working on the song, Akasa said, “I think Lauv brings so much energy and passion to the song and he is in fact, one of the nicest people I have met from the global music industry till date. He is warm and humble beyond being very talented. I feel blessed to be ending 2019 on such a positive note.”

Lauv’s had quite the year, his romantic, EDM-fueled songs have taken the world by storm. In fact, his music also caught the attention of the rising kpop band BTS, and that’s how the remixed version of ‘Make it Right’ was born! And it looks like we’re going to get a lot more personal with Lauv next year, as the artist is kicking off his ‘How I’m Feeling’ summer tour of Asia, starting with India! He has two concerts scheduled for Bangalore and Bombay, respectively.

So, first a Bollywood track and now a tour? Lauv clearly has no intention of slowing down in 2020!
